This restaurant really has the people watching thing down. Everyone eating here is over 40, retired, and just finished a round of golf. Our hostess was Avril Lavigne. No jokes kid.

Food was also really over-priced and not that tasty. This canceled out any points scored for  weirdness.

Let's be honest... there reeeeeally isn't a whole lot going on in terms of Asian cuisine out there. That being said, this place is actually pretty darn good. It's not AWESOME, but I like it.

The service has always been top-notch every time I've been there, the food has always been really good and I've never been disappointed. They are quick and efficient and they're very moderately priced. There's a good amount of food for the price you pay.

I like the decor in there because it looks really clean. I also like the fish tank in there. The bathrooms have always been really clean, too.

Ooooh, and I like their glassware. When I order a Thai Iced Tea, they come out in these frosted tall glasses. I totally dig them.

When I was doing a search, I saw that there's another place to go eat. I guess I'll have to check them out to do a comparison... Hopefully I won't be back out there for a while, though. Nothing against the valley... it's just hella hot out there in the summer...

yummy...yummy...yummy...i love the food here! everything is great. the kee mao is great, tofu with basil. pla lard prik , koong salad.....i could go on & on. i got a job here when it first opened just for the discount. no joke! the place is always clean & so is the kitchen. the cooks are all real thai people which is rare. nong is one of them & he is a terrific cook. you will not be disappointed with the food.

This place always puts a smile on my face.

Really beautiful resturant (if you overlook the exterior strip mall)- it's dark and sultry and really beautifully done- I love the fishtank. The thing is even though it isnt over the top expensive you feel like you're eating at a really nice place. The waiters look great in all black and are generally super attentive.

I love the lunch specials- a ton of food for not to much. At first the salads they bring you might look not great- at it's pretty plain iceberg lettuce with too much dressing- but it's super good- and the soup is great too. I generally get the Pad Thai or Pad See Ew  and they are both awesome.

It gets a bit chilli in there so bring a jacket!

I LOVE Thai Smile.... When ever I am in the Coachella Valley I always try to make it a point to stop by Thai Smile. Honestly I prefer the location in Rancho Mirage out of their three locations. But, the food is always delicious. I came here with a group of friends last night and I seriously wish that I could of eaten more. I ordered the Thai basil with fried tofu and a glass of wine.... I was able to sample some red curry chicken and the spicy eggplant chicken. Everything was flipping good....... I love the condiment's that come out to the table. The assortment of chilies are so good. My girlfriend knows one of the chiefs and when ever we go he always gives us extra special appetizers. For starters he brought out a fried pork thing with some sauce. Being that I don't do the pork think I couldn't tell  you if it was good. But, my friends father seemed to of loved it. After dinner he brought out a desert for us. Sticky rice and mango with coconut ice cream and green tea ice cream.... Sigh..... I wish that they would expand out to Orange County. Hands down this is the BEST Thai food that I have ever had.

Oh, they also have a full bar.. I tried the mojitos once and was not impressed at all. Hence it did not have any Splenda in it...

Pros: The food is always good..
          The service is always wonderful.
          The wine list is decent.
          The restroom is always clean.
           

Cons: The lay out for the La Qunita location is very reminiscent of a    
            Denny's.
            Being that this location is close to Del Web Sun City there  
            seems to be more of a geriatric crowd here at times.
